Enhance Your Teaching
Elevate Your Curriculum Through Direct Discovery
The Human Anatomy Learning Laboratory (H.A.L.L.) is a resource designed for the entire University of Connecticut community. We invite instructors from healthcare to fine arts to integrate our facility into their curriculum to provide students with a transformative educational experience.
H.A.L.L. can provide your students with a unique learning experience. We specialize in real human cadaver dissection and virtual simulation, approaches that go far beyond animal dissection or textbooks.
By working with actual human organ structures and tissues, your students gain hands-on experience with:
Line Placements: Practice precision and anatomical orientation for clinical procedures.
Endoscopy: Navigate real anatomical pathways to understand spatial relationships.
Joint Manipulation: Feel the resistance, range of motion, and mechanics of the human musculoskeletal system.
Advanced Dissection: Develop the fine motor skills and structural knowledge required for surgical and clinical excellence.
Collaborative Teaching Environment
The H.A.L.L. is more than just a learning space; it is a partnership. When you bring your course to our facility, you gain access to specialized resources, bridging the gap between classroom theory and clinical reality. We provide the tools for students to experience the real human body.

“The learning that takes place in H.A.L.L. simply cannot be replicated in textbooks or simulations.”
-Kristin Bott, Director of the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Program
